From VARIETY:
Steve Scarlata, Alejandro Seri and Johnny Silver wrote the script. Prospect Park’s Jeff Kwatinetz and Rob Carliner will produce with Nasser Group’s Jack Nasser and Joseph Nasser, while Marco Torres will exec produce.
Jim Harvey, who was recently hired to head-up Studio City Pictures, will rep the film for international sales. ICM packaged the project and is representing North American rights.
Shields got his start directing music videos before becoming a world-renowned photographer who has earned acclaim for his video portraits as well as his work in the art and celebrity form, including controversial shoots with Lindsay Lohan and “Glee” star Heather Morris.
Founded in 2009 by Kwatinetz and former Disney Studios head Rich Frank, Prospect Park has been involved with films such as “Unstoppable” and “Seven Days in Utopia,” as well as hit TV shows such as “Royal Pains” and “Wilfred.”
The Nassers, who have been producing indie pics for over 15 years, are currently in post-production on “The Dawn Rider,” an action movie starring Christian Slater, Donald Sutherland and Jill Hennessy.
Shields is repped by ICM.
